    Description

    Private James Lowell Foree, nineteen, son of Mrs. Nobia Taylor, wounded in action July 11 in France. Foree, an infantryman is convalescing in a hospital in England for slight wounds from a shrapnel. His mother has had three letters from him there since he was wounded. He has been in the service since July, 1943, and overseas since May. He attended Bowie High School. His brother, Billy Don Foree, 17, is employed at Convair. This is a copy of his portrait photographs, he is wearing his military uniform and smile. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, August 3, 1944.
