Description
Seven Tarrant County men were listed as casualties Wednesday, including two killed in action, three wounded and one missing and one a prisoner of war. Second Lieutenant Elmer Watson Junior, 23, husband of Mrs. Katherine Watson, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Watson, was killed in action in North Africa area July 7. Lieutenant Watson is wearing his uniform in this portrait photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edtion, July 26, 1944.
