    Lieutenant Commander (Lt. Comm.) Houston Small is pictured here. He is shown standing against a bare wall, facing front and smiling for the camera. He is dressed in uniforms. Dr. Small who has been practicing dentistry on the high seas for the last six months was back Tuesday at his old avocation-- running a golf tournament. The former Fort Worth dentist, in the Coast Guard since 1942, was acting as starter in the tournament at Glen Garden Country Club. In pre-service years, he was chairman of the annual event. He has wife and two children, Larry, 4, and Fralin, 12. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 21, 1944.
