Description
Lieutenant Ernest Childers, left, offers a cigarette to his former schoolmate at Chilocco Indian Agricultural School, Sergeant Bill Goforth, who accompanied him here from Camp Swift. While in Fort Worth, Texas, Lieutenant Childers put an end to the rumors he will marry during his leave. Both men are dressed in their military uniforms. Lt. Childers is holding a pack of Lucky Strike pack of cigarettes. Sgt. Goforth is pulling a cigarette out of the pack. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 5, 1944.
