Pilot missing in action. Notice that First Lieutenant N. R. Larsen, B-24 pilot, has been missing over France since June 23, was received Tuesday by his wife who resides with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Newsom. Lieutenant Larsen, holder of the Air Medal, took all of his training in Texas, including a period at Fort Worth Army Air Field,. His home is at Salt Lake City, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Larsen live, and he attended the University of Utah for two years. He entered service two years ago and went to England in March, 1944. His wife, the former Miss Arliene Newsom is a civilian employee at Fort Worth Army Air Field. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition July 11, 1944.
