Shell Day. Seated from left to right are Rear Admiral P. W. Foote and Colonel S. R. Stribling. Standing, left to right, are Paul Kautz and Homer Covey. Shell Day was the occasion to ceremonially "passing the ammunition" in Fort Worth, Texas. All four men are looking at a document that Rear Adm. Foote is holding. There are plates of food and glasses on the table in front of the two seated men.
