A crayon sketch of Miss June Perry was completed by a Japanese prisoner, G. Yoshimatsu, in a Hawaiian prison camp. The portrait was made from a billfold sized photographed carried by Miss Perry's Marine boyfriend, Private First Class Robert F. Watson. Miss Perry, 18, is a graduate of Mansfield High School. The portrait is done in soft pastel colors. The portrait is signed in Japanese on the bottom right corner with Mr. Yoshimatsu's name written beneath.
