Left to right, Corporal Robert C. McLeister, from Morristown, New Jersery and Staff Sergeant Lucian L. Logan from Laurel, Mississippi, shoveling grain. United States Marines got the wheat unloading situation well in hand at the Uhlmann Grain Elevator near Alice Street and West Dickson Street in Fort Worth, Texas. Corp. McLeister and Staff Sgt. Logan were part of a group of 16 who work extra at night shoveling grain into suction pumps that unload cars. Both men are holding large wooden boards with handles used to shovel grain.
