    Description

    Larry Taylor, newly elected first vice president of the International Typographical Union (ITU) visited Fort Worth before moving to Indianapolis to assume the duties of his new office on July 15. Taylor was a member of the ITU for 24 years and of ITU Dallas Local No. 173 for 21 years, who formerly worked on the composing room staff of the old Fort Worth Record. At various times he served on newspapers in Amarillo, Austin and Beaumont. He has long been on the composing room staff of the Dallas Times-Herald. Taylor is wearing a double-breasted suit and tie, and standing by a blank wall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 7, 1944.
