Copy of military portrait photograph of Captain John L. Clark Junior, a Spitfire fighter pilot in the Army Air Force. He is serving overseas with the 12th Air Force but will soon return home to Fort Worth, Texas, on a furlough. Captain Clark holds the Purple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC), and the Air Medal with ten clusters. He is pictured wearing an aviator jacket, aviator hat, and goggles.
