Description
Captain Leonard A. Swanson is a 26-year-old Liberator pilot. He is back home in Fort Worth, Texas, after serving 18 months in India. He is spending his furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niles Swanson, and his wife Mrs. Jane Swanson. Captain Swanson is a graduate of Taylor High School and the University of Texas. He entered the Army Air Force in November of 1941. Before going overseas, Captain Swanson piloted the first bomber to begin training of combat crews in Fort Worth, Texas. The Captain is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a military uniform.
