Description

The Fort Worth, Texas Red Cross Blood Donor mobile unit launched a series of out-of-town stands, to include Denton. Ben Ivey, standing, Denton, Texas Red Cross chairman, congratulates donor No. 2, Mrs. Polly Hampton of Sanger and mother of three sailors. Mrs. Hampton is sitting on an exam table and the two are shaking hands. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 4, 1944.
