Description
The Fort Worth, Texas Red Cross Blood Donor mobile unit launched a series of out-of-town stands, to include Denton. Mrs. Bess McCullar, standing, executive secretary of Denton, Texas Red Cross Chapter, serves cookies to Mrs. R. L. King, donor, wife of an Army colonel and mother of a private. Mrs. McCullar is wearing a dress. Mrs. King is sitting at a table and is wearing a blouse, blazer, and skirt. On the table are cupcakes, a salt shaker, and a napkin dispenser. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, April 4, 1944.
