    Description

    The Fourth War Loan Drive is beginning in Fort Worth, Texas, with a $25 purchase at the Quartermaster Depot. Participating in the drive, left to right, are John T. McNeely Senior (Sr.) and Major (Maj.) Jeff S. Henderson. Mr. McNeely is the proud father of a son in the military. He is displaying the Silver Star for gallantry with which Private (Pvt.) John T. McNeely Junior (Jr.) was decorated with last October in North Africa. Mr. McNeeley, a civilian ambulance driver, is dressed in a collared shirt, necktie and trousers. Major (Maj.) Henderson is a personnel officer at Quartermaster Depot. He is wearing a military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 20, 1944.
