Lieutenant and Mrs. L. E. Shaw shown with Patrolman V. P. Howell. Three people standing next to a striped light pole with a police or fire call box affixed. Mrs. Shaw is wearing what looks like a camel coat over a gingham suit with large buttons. She has a bow in her hair. Lt. Shaw is wearing a dark uniform shirt, a light solid color tie (tucked into the buttoned front of his shirt), and lighter color pants and a woven belt. His dark colored service cap has army insignia and he has insignia pins on his shirt collar. Howell is wearing solid colored light shirt and dark tie with his police uniform. There is braid on his sleeve and patches with stars on the sleeve and a PD patch on the collar. He has a badge over the left breast pocket, a heavy leather belt and a service revolver out of view in a leather holster. His service cap has police insignia on the front. Howell is wearing glasses. Behind the three is a street scene with a prominent four story brick building with lots of open windows (opening on hinges that swing out) and cars in the street. Clipping:"Lt. and Mrs. L. E.
