Description
Dutch Wickliffe is working on the Devonian Oil Company 6,300-foot exploration oil well on the Raymond E. Buck ranch in Parker County. It is 18 miles southwest of Fort Worth, Texas, and nine miles southeast of Weatherford, Texas. Mr. Wickliffe is standing beside a large instrument used for the oil work. He is holding one of the handles of the equipment while his other hand is on his hip. He is wearing gloves, a helmet, trousers and a long-sleeve shirt.
