    Description

Mrs. Louis R. Hughes Junior and her sons, Dennis Atwood, left, and Louis R. III. Mrs. Hughes Junior is sitting in a wooden chair with her young boys standing on either side of her. Both boys are wearing matching outfits, while their mother is wearing a dark dress with stripes around the waist and shoulders. Louis R. III is holding up a toy airplane while his brother is looking on. Mrs. Hughes Junior has her hands around her sons' waists and is smiling while she looks at Louis R. III play with his toy. Around them are small, intricate side tables with lamps and potted plants resting on them. A patterned curtain can also be seen at the far left. The Hughes family moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to Lake Worth, Texas. Colonel Hughes is stationed at Tarrant Field.
