Mrs. Layton Dorrell and daughter, Darlene are shown sitting on couch with a knitted blanket draped over it. Mrs. Dorrell is looking at her daughter, smiling and Darlene looks at the camera. Both have their legs crossed and their hands in their lap. Darlene is holding a baby doll in her lap. They are wearing dresses. Behind the couch is a window covered with a lace curtain and to the side of the couch is a floor lamp. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 7, 1943.
