Description
A view of the Texans that attended the Childress Army Air Forces Bombadier School dedication showing a portion of crowd congregating by the buildings and lining the runway. There is an estimated 15,000 West Texans that attended the dedication of the school. In the distance, a half-mile of the field's apron with Beech AT-11 Kansan trainer planes can be seen. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 18, 1943.
