Description

The 1943 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Hubert Gray is a lightweight fighter from Wichita Falls, Texas. He is shown exiting the ring after winning the lightweight title. He is wearing boxing trunks and boxing gloves and has a coat draped over his shoulders. An unidentified man is standing behind him, at left. Gray will advance to the National Championship in Chicago, Illinois, where he will represent Texas.
