Description
The 1943 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the flyweight division, left to right, are Lloyd Zumwalt and Hector Marquez. Zumwalt is from the Temple, Texas, team. Marquez was raised in Juarez, Mexico, but is representing El Paso, Texas, in the tournament. One minute into the second round, Marquez is shown sending a powerful right hook to the body of Zumwalt. Marquez followed with a blow to the chin, knocking out his opponent.
