Description

Boxers in the Fort Worth, Texas, area are preparing for the 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament. The competition will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Pete Stout will make his bow as an amateur boxer in the heavyweight fight tonight. He is a 200-pound freshman fullback on the Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) football team. Stout is a native of Throckmorton, Texas. He is shown standing against a wall, posing in a fighter's stance.
