Description
Three Army wives, Mrs. Vernon Wildman, Mrs. Nile Evans and Mrs. E. W. Marcum, have moved to Fort Worth, pooled their families under one big house and learned to live in high spirits on a low budget. They live at 1013 Ramsey Street. The entire group shown is eating dinner around a large table. Everyone appears to be engaged in conversation, smiling and laughing as they talk. The table is covered in a variety of plates, bowls and cups. Mrs. Evans (left) is shown passing a bowl of food to Mrs. Marcum (right). Mrs. Wildman sits between them. Mrs. Marcum's son sits next to her, Miss Phyllis Evans (hidden) and Miss Nora Lee Wildman sit to the right of Mrs. Evans, and Mr. Cook sits at the head the table. Behind Mrs. Wildman is a china cabinet filled with a variety of plates and cups.
