Description
Three Army wives, Mrs. Vernon Wildman, Mrs. Nile Evans and Mrs. E. W. Marcum, have moved to Fort Worth, pooled their families under one big house and learned to live in high spirits on a low budget. They live at 1013 Ramsey Street. A cribbage board, souvenir of Major and Mrs Evans' tour of China, helps the family to pass leisure hours. Left to right: Mrs. Wildman, and Mrs. Evans, playing caribbage; and Mrs. Marcum and son, Bobby. The group is shown sitting around a game table wooden table. Mrs. Wildman and Mrs. Evans have playing cards laid out on the table, as well as an ashtray with a cigarette in it. Mrs. Marcum and her son are simply looking on at the game. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, February 14, 1943.
