Description
This corner of the De Zavala Elementary School classroom resembles a broadcasting station with the various equipment. It is actually an electric hearing aid system. The children are turning to their teacher, Mrs. Marjorie Moore, as they hear her voice for the first time through their audiphones. The students, left to right, are Jack Miller, Yvonne Gage, Janet Britt, Bill Mason, Jimmy Whisenhunt, and Billy Frank Melton. An unidentified girl is sitting at the far right.
