Fred Redman is a Fireman First Class of the United States Navy. He is standing in front of an empty wall with his hands behind his back. He is wearing his naval uniform, including a hat that says. "U.S. Navy," across the front. Sticking out of the front breast pocket of his shirt is a comb. He and two of his siblings are in Fort Worth, Texas, to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. S. O. Redman.
