Donn Rockwell Mall is the son of First Lieutenant and Mrs. Donn W. Mall. Mrs. Dorothy Rockwell Mall is standing beside her son who is sitting on a stone ledge and hugging his mother's neck. Mrs. Mall is wearing a long coat and holding a textured handbag. Her son is wearing a coat, trousers and a hat. Behind them are a few parked cars and a couple of buildings. They are living at the Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas, while Lieutenant Mall awaits reassignment.
