Leaders of the Farm Mobilization rally held at First Christian Church. Left to right, George A. Slaughter of Wharton, Texas, chairman of the state AAA committee; Ernest Allen of Fort Worth, Texas, chairman of the Tarrant County farm mobilization committee, and C. T. Watson of Dallas, Texas, stage director of the Garm Security Administration. The three men are shown in the midst of a conversation with Slaughter and Allen both looking on at Watson. Each of them are wearing dark suits and Slaughter and Allen are also wearing eyeglasses. As they the trio talk, Watson holds a piece of paper in his left hand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 13, 1943.
