The women shown is Mrs. W. K. Gordon Junior (Jr.) the former Miss Anna Melissa Hogsett. She is standing in front of a patterned curtain wearing a dark, short sleeve dress and netting in her hair that covers her eyes. She is also wearing a bracelet on her left wrist and appears to be looking to her left. She is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe B. Hogsett and will return to San Diego, California for her husband who is stationed there. Off to the side, a table lamp can be partially seen. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 8, 1943.
