Description
Mrs. Pat Quirke Washburn is holding her newborn daughter. The baby was named Terence Quirke for family tradition and nicknamed "Mustang." Mrs. Washburn's husband, Major W. R. Washburn, is stationed in Africa and will learn the news of his daughter's birth as soon as the letters from Fort Worth, Texas, catch up to him. Mrs. Washburn is a native of Urbana, Illinois, where she was a model and personal manager. Since her marriage to the Army man, she has lived in five different states. Mrs. Washburn is sitting on a chair with the baby on her lap. She is wearing a two-toned dress.
