    Description

    Sergeant Sterling O. Thompson, son of Mrs. Henrietta Thompson, who was among the first to return from the Philippines. Sergeant Thompson has seen action in Australia and the Dutch East Indies. He is now home on furlough, after which he will report to Idaho for duty. Thompson is shown standing in front of an empty wall wearing his military uniform and smiling slightly at the camera. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 6, 1943.
