Description

The general office of the Worth Food Market was robbed Thursday morning by three gunmen. One waited in the car, the second stood guard in the reception area, and the third carried out the robbery. Witnesses to the incident, left to right, were Mrs. Ella Terrell and H. O. Childress. They are the only employees that came in direct contact with any of the robbers. They were sitting at their desks when the robber pulled his gun. He filled a flour sack with money and records from the 14 stores. Mrs. Terrell, a clerk, is wearing a collared blouse, blazer, and a skirt. Mr. Childress is the secretary treasurer. He is dressed in a three-piece suit without the jacket.
