Description
Lawrence Culver is training for the 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament. The fights will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Culver is know as "Little Ox." He is a former football player at Amon Carter Riverside High School. He is currently in the Navy Air Corps Reserve. The 150-pound welterweight is competing in his first Golden Gloves tournament.
