Description
The Block Mothers is a local organization with 10,000 members. They are putting plans into motion to organize their neighborhoods before additional rationing programs go into effect. The first step of the plan involved electing colonels to lead the chapter. Mrs. Madge Tucker is handling all literature for the organization through the Consumers' Center. She has been a member of the First Christian Church for 25 years. Mrs. Tucker is shown standing against a wall, wearing a dark dress and a rose brooch.
