Description

The Fort Worth Cats hosted the St. Louis Cardinals in an exhibition game at LaGrave Field. The Cardinals are finishing up their Spring Training and preparing for their home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Stuart Martin, Cardinals' second baseman, is fielding a throw from the pitcher. Steve Kuk, number 9 with the Cats, is sliding in, attempting to break-up the double play. Martin managed to get the throw off and Irvine Jeffries was out at first. In the background, the Cardinals' shortstop Marty Marion is leaping to safety.
