    Description

The Fort Worth Cats hosted the Shreveport Sports at LaGrave Field. In the top of the fourth inning the Sports were leading 1-0 with a runner on first when Paul Easterling smacked a double to the far corner of left field. Tony York sprinted around the bases while the Cats' left fielder Henry "Prince" Oana chased down the baseball. He threw to shortstop Joe Abreu who leveled a perfect relay to catcher and player manager Bob Linton. The Skipper, number 19, applied an expert tag on the sliding York. The umpire making the "out" call is Arthur Passarella. The pitcher standing on the mound is Otho Nitcholas. The Cats went on to win the game 5-1.
