Description
The Fort Worth Cats hosted the St. Louis Cardinals in an exhibition game at LaGrave Field. The Cardinals are finishing up their Spring Training and preparing for their home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Joe Medwick, Cardinal left-fielder, is running to first as Charley Baron of the Cats takes a throw. Medwick, number 7, is an All-Star outfielder for the Cardinals. He was on the Cardinals' 1934 World Series team and was the Triple Crown winner in 1937. In 1968 Medwick was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
