Camp Wolters is offering Opportunity Classes for soldiers who came into the army with meager knowledge of reading and writing. Pictured is a star student and soldier who has learned reading, writing, and arithmetic as well as basic military training in the weeks he has been at Camp Wolters. His arm band shows he holds a temporary Corporal's rank. This soldier is seated and writing on a pad. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1942
