    Description

Camp Wolters is offering Opportunity Classes for soldiers who came into the army with meager knowledge of reading and writing. In this class, they are learning the three R's. Some of the soldiers are learning English, including a Polish student and a Filipino student. At the far end of the table is one of the teachers, partly hidden. They are studying outside, at a picnic table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1942.
