Description

"These flags of the Allied Nations, borne by Boy Scouts, shared honors with 'Old Glory' Sunday evening at Elks' Lodge- American Legion ceremonies at Burnett Park, which brought to a dramatic close the city's first observance of a wartime Flag Day in 24 years." A group of boy scouts is standing outside the Elks' Lodge- American Legion building holding flags. All but one of the young men stand in a U-shaped formation holding the flags of the Allied Nations, while one young man stands in the center holding the American Flag.
