Top, left, are Mrs. J. M. Rawls of 3319 Race Street and her three-month-old daughter, Sherry Diane, who preferred a bottle to the barbecue. Mrs. Rawls, 19, is a native of Riverside and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip E. Brothers of 1205 Bonnie Brae". Mrs. Rawls is on a wooden bench in the center left of the photograph holding her 3 months old daughter Sherry Diane Rawls. She is wearing a horizontally striped blouse, a white skirt, and white shoes with ankle socks. She wears a large swirled necklace, a watch on her left wrist, and a ring on her left and right ring fingers. Her hair is dark and half up and half down with a bow in the back. She is looking to the right of the camera and is smiling broadly as she feeds her daughter a bottle. Sherry Rawls in on her mothers lap in the center of the photograph. She is wearing a light colored dress and white baby shoes. She drinking a small bottle and is looking up at her mother with a confused look on her face. In the background a tree trunk, bush, vehicle, and house can be seen. The bench is sitting on a grassy surface.
