The front lawn of this residence was a ringside seat for the Hemphill Street celebration Friday night. It is the residence of Mrs. Edna Halbower, 2901 Hemphill, who held open house for family and friends. Front row, left to right, Mrs. Dave Umbenhour, Mrs. Jess Umbenhour, Babe Evans, Violet Collier and Charles Umbenhour. Back row, Dave Umbenhour, Mrs. J. A. Williams, Mrs. Edna Halbower and Lee Umbenhour.
