Description
Early development for the new Taylor County pool two and one-half miles west of Merkel has been assured through these operations. The rig is being moved off C. W. and William L. Snoddy No. 1 D. L. Tipton discovery well. There are four men working on securing the rig on a trailer, the fourth man partially hidden. A truck will pull the rig. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 15, 1942.
