Description
Soldiers at Camp Bowie now find recreation in one of the finest recreation centers in the country. It's Brownwood's new $69,000 United Service Organization (U. S. O.) Club recently completed and dedicated amid gay festivities. Plotting the Club program are Miss Wanda Newman, Lufkin, Texas, more recently an Amarillo schoolteacher, and Carl Schultz, one time University of Illinois athlete. They are assistant program directors. The two are sitting at a desk and reviewing notes. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 15, 1942.
