Soldiers at Camp Bowie now find recreation in one of the finest recreation centers in the country. It's Brownwood's new $69,000 United Service Organization (U. S. O.) Club recently completed and dedicated amid gay festivities. Shown here are Mrs. R. B. Rogers, founder of the Brownwood chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR); Cooper Rice (left), Malvern, Ohio, director of the 174th Field Artillery Band and Private (Pvt.) Roy Galambos, Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Roger is wearing a dark-colored dress with sheen and lace detailing at the neckline, a necklace, a bracelet, eyeglasses, and an ermine fur, and holding an embroidered clutch. She is serving cookies. Private Galambos is reaching for a cookie A bar serving malts and sodas is just behind them. All are smiling and look happy.
