The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Being presented with a trophy is the middleweight champion, Buster Burrell. He is dressed in a robe and is still wearing his boxing gloves. Burrell will now advance to compete at nationals in Chicago, Illinois.
