Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Facing off in the ring are, left to right, heavyweights Gilbert Stromquist and Bennie Brast. The six-feet-eight-inch Stromquist is fighting off an attack from Brast in the second round. Brast is bleeding from his mouth and a cut beneath his eye. Stromquist went on to win the fight.
