Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in semi-final bout of the flyweight division, left to right, are Louis Foytik and Jose Andreas. Foytik is representing Wichita Falls, Texas. He is shown on the floor after a knockdown in the first round. Andreas is from Fort Worth, Texas. Andreas' final knockout came after just under two minutes in the first round. The referee is shown standing between the two fighters, preparing to call Andreas the victor. Andreas went on to beat Leonard Zuniga for the state flyweight title.
