    Description

    The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the welterweight division, left to right, are Marvin Bryant and Max Waller. Bryant is representing the Dallas, Texas, district. Waller is representing Tyler, Texas. During the first round of the semifinals, Bryant delivered a strong right that sent Waller through the air and under the ropes. Bryant went on to win the welterweight title.
