Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Sports writers from every part of Texas are gathering for the annual tournament. Many of them help sponsor teams in their home districts and arrange for their champions to make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas. Sitting at a ringside table, behind a typewriter is Collier Parris (right). He is a writer with the Lubbock Avalanche Journal. He is dressed in a three-piece suit. There are crowd of people in the background, sitting in the stands.
